About Me
- Name: Dave and Lois
- Location: New Mexico, United States
Dave and Lois St. John have chosen a life of travel. Over the past 25 or so years we have been traveling in our motorhome(s). We have owned 3 motorhomes over those years. Our current motorhome is an Eagle Bus Conversion. Our bus is a 1978 Eagle that was owned and operated as a seated coach by Continental Trailways. It was sold to Greyhound in 1988 and continued to serve as a seated coach until it was retired in 1990 as a "Million-Miler." We are told that these coaches were driven an average of 500,00 miles per year. If our coach operated near the average it could have approximately 5 million miles on it. That is leaving the possibility of a couple of years that it was out of schedule for maintenance and/or repair. Our coach was reconfigured as a motorhome in 1990 and has been continually modified and upgraded over the past 15 years. We have owned the coach since 1999. When we purchased our Eagle we christened it "Casa de Aguila." Since purchasing the coach we have driven it a little more than 100,000 miles. Our travels have taken us from Florida to Alaska, from the Mexican Baja to Maine. We continue to enjoy the RV lifestyle.
